Pristina tries to occupy northern Kosovo and Metohija

Pristina seeks to occupy the north of Kosovo and Metohija. This was stated to journalists by the head of the Ministry of Defense of Serbia, Milos Vucevic.

“The security situation is extremely risky due to the unilateral, illegal, illegitimate decisions of the Pristina administration, and first of all, let’s call it by its proper name <...> the occupation of the north of Kosovo and Metohija by the Albanian administration from Pristina,” — the Serbian minister said on air TV channel RTS.

He added that the republic’s army cannot ignore the violence against the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, and will be forced to respond in case of attacks on fellow citizens.

“We are talking about, God forbid, scenarios of killing Serbs, the physical liquidation of our people by the Kosovo police, the expulsion of Serbs, pogroms, everything that happened to us 20 or 30 years ago,” — Vucevic emphasized.

These circumstances, the head of the Defense Ministry continued, would indeed be not only a “red alert”, but also the moment “when Serbia cannot just talk and sit back.”
