Primorye deputy will answer again in court for child molestation

On March 29, the Soviet Court of Vladivostok will consider on the merits the criminal case against the Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Primorsky Territory Artem Samsonov.

This decision was made during the preliminary court hearing. At the same time, the court rejected the defense’s request to return the case to the prosecutor. The fact is that earlier the Primorsky Regional Court overturned the conviction of Samsonov, which was passed in September 2022 by the Soviet District Court, reports “Morning News”.

Recall that then Samsonov was sentenced to 13 years in a strict regime colony for sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14, who was in a helpless state.
