Prime Minister of Italy said that the supply of fighter jets to Ukraine is not discussed

Italian Prime Minister George Meloni said that the supply of fighter jets to Kyiv is currently not being discussed, such decisions are made jointly with international partners. So she commented on media reports that Rome could provide the Armed Forces of Ukraine with up to five combat aircraft of old models.

“When there is one who was attacked, all weapons are defensive, at the moment the delivery of aircraft is not on the agenda. We must make such decisions together with international partners. At this stage, we are focused on air defense systems,” — said the Italian prime minister at a press conference after talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv.
