PMC “Wagner” will not arrange a coup d’état in Russia, because it has a positive attitude towards Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was stated by the founder of the military company Yevgeny Prigozhin, noting that the only danger for Russia is NATO.
“We have a very respectful attitude towards Putin. PMC “Wagner” to make a coup d’état [в России] is not going to. The main armed force that we need to guard against and that can make a military coup is NATO, which can achieve these results with the help of the Ukrainian army if we relax the rolls,” Prigozhin’s press service reports on Telegram. Thus, he commented on the accusations against the military company from the ex-Minister of Defense of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Igor Strelkov-Girkin.
Earlier, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that the Russians rallied around their leader. According to VTsIOM, the rating of the head of state rose to 76.5%.
