In his speech in Budapest, the Pope Francis condemned abortion and gender theory as examples of “ideological colonization”. About it informs edition of the Catholic News Agency.
“This is the pernicious path taken by those forms of ‘ideological colonization’ that would abolish distinctions, as in the case of so-called gender theory, or would place simplistic concepts of freedom before the reality of life. For example, praising as progress the meaningless “right to abortion”, which is always a tragic defeat,” the pontiff said.
The head of the Catholic Church called for the construction of a Europe centered on the human person and its peoples, with an effective birth and family policy.
Before the speech, he met with the Hungarian President and Prime Minister, whose initiatives helped improve the country’s demographic situation.
