Dmitry Polyansky, First Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN, advised Secretary General of the organization António Guterres to name the person responsible for the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. The diplomat spoke about this on his page on the social network Twitter.
On Saturday, the UN Secretary General participated in a ceremony in memory of the victims of the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Guterres asked never to forget about the tragedy and said that there is no place on Earth for nuclear weapons. He also mentioned a special Russian military operation in Ukraine, but did not say a word about the United States, which was the only one to drop nuclear shells on cities.
According to Polyansky, the world community should remember that this crime was committed by Washington. It would be right if Guterres mentioned this in his statements as well.
