The study is based on an online survey of 4,800 small businesses conducted in October across Russia.
“This year, about 32% of small businesses applied for a business loan. Almost every second entrepreneur uses borrowed funds for business development: increasing points of presence, advertising, new equipment, purchasing raw materials, purchasing vehicles. Among the companies that refused a loan, 70% were not satisfied with the interest rate, 93% – the maximum loan amount, 84% – the loan term, almost a third – the term of the loan transaction.
“At the same time, 54% of those who received a business loan are satisfied with the amount received, 29% are generally satisfied with the interest rate, 17% – with the speed of the loan agreement.
