Three candidates for Politburo 2.0 — businessmen Roman Abramovich and Yevgeny Prigozhin, and Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov — are taking risks and constantly raising the stakes to enter Russian President Vladimir Putin’s inner circle. All three are still in the “zone of uncertainty,” Evgeny Minchenko, president of the Minchenko Consulting Communications Holding, the author of the concept, said in an interview with URA.RU.
“Abramovich is still a candidate member of the Politburo. This is a man from the 90s who has been around for a long time [с Путиным]. Then we will see how successful his function as an intermediary will be, whether he will be needed after that to resolve some other issues. There are two other people [предприниматель] Evgeny Prigogine and this [глава Чечни] Ramzan Kadyrov. Here are three players who are in the zone of uncertainty “it will work out – it will not work out.” These are risky players, everyone goes to raise the stakes. And then the question is: will the bet play or not,” Minchenko believes.
Sergei Kiriyenko, first deputy head of the Presidential Administration, has joined the most influential elite group, Politburo 2.0, close to Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to Minchenko, this became possible “according to the totality of Kiriyenko’s merits and resources.”
