The former deputy head of Rossotrudnichestvo, Natalia Poklonskaya, announced on her Telegram channel that Igor Krasnov was appointed to the post of adviser to the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation.
A day earlier, the President of Russia, by his decree, released Poklonskaya from the post of Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for the CIS, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation.
“Today I have been appointed to the post of adviser to the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Viktorovich Krasnov,” Poklonskaya wrote.
She also stated that she would stop maintaining social networks and participating in any public activities, since she would be engaged in “implementing the tasks set by the Prosecutor General of Russia in accordance with the Federal Law “On the Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation”.
Natalya Poklonskaya was appointed Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo in early February 2022, then she left the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Cape Verde. Prior to that, she was elected to the State Duma of the 7th convocation, was the deputy chairman of the Duma Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption, and was also the prosecutor of the Republic of Crimea.
