Perm man will be convicted of attacking his mother and a policeman

A resident of the village of Orda (Perm Territory) will be tried for beating his mother, threatening to kill her, and then attacking a policeman. The law enforcement officer managed to stop the Perm man only with a shot in the leg. This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Directorate for the Perm Territory.

“The investigation established that on September 4, the Perm resident was near his house. He first hit his elderly mother several times, then, with a knife in his hands, began threatening to kill the woman. The local police officer intervened in the conflict. Then the man with a knife in his hands attacked the law enforcement officer. Shooting in the air did not stop the attacker and the Interior Ministry officer had to shoot him in the leg. Only then did the Permian calm down. He was taken to the hospital with injuries,” the department said.

After the attacker received the necessary assistance in the hospital, he was sent to a pre-trial detention center. The criminal investigation has now been completed and has been sent to court for consideration.
