Prikamsky investigators extended the measure of restraint to the former deputy of the Legislative Assembly Alexander Telepnev until September 7. The ex-official is forbidden to perform certain actions, including leaving the house, the regional media reported, citing a source familiar with the situation.
“The measure of restraint for the accused was extended until September 7, the court issued a corresponding decision on August 3. The accused is forbidden to leave the house without the permission of the investigator, except when visiting a doctor and shops. He is also allowed morning and evening walks, ”the message on the Kommersant-Prikamye website says. Telepnev was charged with hooliganism. At the trial, he asked to choose a measure of restraint in the form of a written undertaking not to leave the place.
In early May, the ex-deputy, being in one of the Permian bars, made a brawl. He began throwing various objects towards the bar counter, as a result of which several patrons and the bartender were injured. Later, Alexander Telepnev apologized to him and compensated for the moral damage. Initially, the investigators insisted on house arrest of the former official, but then the court filed a motion to take him into custody.
