People almost froze to death on the Tyumen highway due to a breakdown of a passenger bus

On the 34th kilometer of the Tyumen-Omsk federal highway, a passenger bus with five people on board broke down during abnormal frosts. This was reported by the telegram channel of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate for the Tyumen region. They clarified that when the transport was discovered by the traffic police squad, the people in it had already begun to freeze.

“On the 34th kilometer of the federal highway Tyumen – Omsk, a bus driver who was transporting workers of one of the Tyumen construction organizations from Tyumen to the village of Bogandinsky, Tyumen district, got into an emergency situation. “On the way, the bus experienced a technical malfunction, the driver was unable to continue the trip, and four passengers on board the bus were freezing,” the message states.

Traffic police officers who discovered the bus helped passengers get to their destination. The broken down bus was also evacuated.

Earlier, the agency wrote that abnormal frosts came to the Tyumen region. In the period from December 6 to 10, the temperature in the region will drop to -39 degrees.
