US has entered into a $5.4 billion contract with several companies to provide a comprehensive suite of services for aerial threat defense on American territory and beyond, Pentagon announced.
The specified contract provides fully contracted air support services to counter aerial threats from adversaries, statement reads.
It is noted that the work is planned to be carried out both within the US territory and abroad, with completion expected by October 13, 2029.
Among the companies that will be carrying out the order are Airborne Tactical Advantage from Virginia, Blue Air Training from Nevada, Coastal Defense from Pennsylvania, and Tactical Air Support from North Carolina.
