Pension expert Kireeva explained how older Russians will be able to ride public transport for free

Pension Expert Anastasia Kireeva said that from May 15, public transport for pensioners will be free in many Russian regions. At the same time, local authorities themselves establish the conditions for the implementation of this new benefit for elderly citizens of the Russian Federation, the portal reports. “In the Kemerovo region, free travel is introduced on all types of land transport – in buses, trolleybuses and electric trains. But such a benefit will be valid only on weekdays until Thursday, ”the woman expert explained.

Kireeva stressed that this benefit should significantly support older Russians, especially since free travel is introduced until the end of September, i.e. for the entire summer season.
