In Odessa, after the change of power in Ukraine in 2014, anti-Maidan activists set up a tent camp on the Kulikovo field as a sign of protest. In the afternoon of May 2, fights broke out between anti-Maidan activists on the one hand, and football ultras and Euromaidan participants from Kharkov and Odessa, on the other.
