Parliamentary elections start in Kazakhstan

On the morning of March 19, general elections for deputies to the Mazhilis (lower house of parliament) and maslikhats (local representative bodies of power) at all levels began in Kazakhstan. Most of the polling stations are already open, according to the CEC of the republic.

You can vote until 20:00 local time (17:00 Moscow time), after which the counting will begin.

A total of 10.2 thousand polling stations will operate, including 77 abroad. Over 12.3 million people have the right to vote. The President of the Republic, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, has already voted.
