Paris police use tear gas to disperse demonstrators

To disperse the demonstrators who took to Place Vauban in Paris demanding the abolition of pension reform, the police had to use tear gas. Clashes between law enforcement agencies and protesters began on March 20 in the streets adjacent to the square.

Half an hour after it was announced that the resolution of no confidence in the government did not get enough votes in the National Assembly – the lower house of parliament. After this news, the situation on the streets of Paris immediately escalated, aggression appeared in the ranks of the demonstrators, the participants began to shout insults at the police, throw stones and bottles at them and set fire to garbage.
