Parents from Khanty-Mansiysk complained that at school their children were forced to get a Sberbank card. The appeal of the residents of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug was heard during a live broadcast with the director of the Department of Education and Science of Ugra, Alexey Drenin, which took place on the page of the SDG Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug on the VKontakte social network.
“I received a message that the school is a participant in the pilot project, and parents need to issue Sbercards for their children to enter the educational institution: without them, children will not be allowed to enter the school. Why do lower grades need a card to enter school, because there is a high probability that the child will lose it or become an object of bullying from older students?” – parents are indignant.
Drenin responded to residents of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug that issuing a Sberbank card to go to school is not mandatory. “A Sber card for a child as a pass to school is issued at the request of the parent. Checkpoints in educational institutions are designed in such a way that you can program a card from any bank or use a regular pass. I believe that the school incorrectly informed parents on this issue,” explained the head of the education department.
Earlier, URA.RU wrote that students in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug will be able to go to school using a Sber card. To receive a free card for your child, you must contact the management of the educational institution.
