Paraguayan President Santiago Peña has been hospitalized with severe chest pains, causing concern. His condition is now improving, according to latest update.
Vice President Pedro Alliana gave an update on his health, saying he is currently doing well.
“I spoke with President Santiago Peña, who is in the Samaritano Hospital in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, after a slight illness. He is doing well and awaiting the results of his medical examinations,” Pedro Alliana shared on the social media X platform in Spanish.
On Monday, November 18, Santiago Peña felt chest pain during the G20 summit and was subsequently hospitalized.

An electrocardiogram conducted at summit venue revealed an abnormality, according to the newspaper Última Hora.
