The Investigative Committee organized an investigation into the fact of a panther attack on a child in the Volgograd region
On one of the eco-farms in the Volgograd region, a panther attacked a seven-year-old girl, reported press office regional SC. The child received head injuries, the doctors helped the schoolgirl.
On May 27, the parents of the first-grader arrived at the recreation center in the village of Vertyachiy, Gorodishchensky district. According to preliminary information, the girl came too close to the cage with the panther, and the animal wounded her with its claws. The victim was injured in the head.
“Doctors immediately provided the schoolgirl with the necessary assistance, hospitalization was not required, there is no threat to life and health,” the press service of the UK added.
The police organized an investigation into the incident. Representatives of law enforcement agencies will give a legal assessment of the legality of the private zoo.
The press service of the regional head office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told TASSthat the police have not received any complaints about this fact. The health committee of the Volgograd region added that the girl had already been discharged from the hospital.
Earlier, a tiger attacked a resident of Primorye. The predator attacked the woman when she was looking for a lost dog. The victim received hand injuries.
