Over the past weekend in the urban districts of the Moscow region, over 14,000 complex cleaning specialists and 1,274 vehicles monitored the cleanliness of the territories. Services of 38 urban districts completely eliminated flooding in two days.
“Out of 427 identified problematic addresses in the Moscow Region, colleagues worked out 85% using the methods of drainage and mechanized pumping,” said Svetlana Aipova, head of the main department for maintaining territories with the rank of minister.
The minister also added that the main problem of the districts after the winter is the glaciation of storm sewers. Against this background, the GUST inspectors instructed the management companies to clear the water intake grates of ice in the near future.
Earlier, Governor Andrey Vorobyov said that public spaces continue to be transformed in the Moscow Region. According to him, the quality of life in the Moscow region depends on the improvement of squares and parks.
