He is accused of committing a crime under Part 2 of Art. 217 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of industrial safety requirements for hazardous production facilities, resulting in the death of a person by negligence),” the agency said in a statement.
The UK clarifies that the suspect did not provide the necessary industrial safety measures at the workplace, which is why on February 6, 2022, a 36-year-old worker died as a result of the destruction of the pipeline. The incident occurred in the Uvatsky district on the oilfield pipeline of the Ust-Tegusskoye field. At the moment, the case has been submitted to the supervisory authority for approval of the indictment.
Earlier, URA.RU reported that a shift worker died from an electric shock of 35,000 volts in the Tyumen region. The tragedy occurred at the Ust-Tegusskoye field.
