The Department of Construction, State Expertise and Housing and Communal Services of the Kurgan Region helped to develop a project for the improvement of the city of Krasnodon in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR). This was reported in the telegram channel “Kurgan region officially”.

“Specialists from the Department of Construction, State Expertise and Housing and Communal Services of the Kurgan Region helped their colleagues from Krasnodon prepare a project for the improvement of urban areas. This was done to participate in the All-Russian competition “Small Towns and Historical Settlements”, – indicated in the channel’s post.

It is reported that Krasnodon received assistance from the Kurgan authorities as part of an agreement between the regional government and the city administration in the LPR. The channel’s post also states that if Krasnodon wins, it will receive financial support from the federal budget for the revival of the park. “The new concept will preserve the historical potential of the territory – the mass grave of miners, monuments commemorating the feat of the Young Guard, and other monuments, combining them with modern trends in the development of urban areas,” the telegram channel reports.

Earlier URA.RU wrote that the Governor of Kurgan Shumkov signed an agreement with the administration of the city of Krasnodon from the LPR. The heads signed the document on the Day of the State Flag of Russia.
