If in the period of winter colds many people forget about ice cream, then in the summer this delicacy always claims leadership among other sweets. Dietitian and endocrinologist Albina Komissarova shared her tips on choosing a cold dessert in her Telegram channel.
The nutritionist recommended giving preference to fruit sorbets or classic ice cream, which should have whole milk or cream in the first place. At the same time, homemade ice cream will be a good alternative.
“You can add fresh fruits or berries as a topping, then you need less ice cream to enjoy the dessert,” added the doctor.
