Russian special operation in Ukraine

Kyiv is not obliged to report to anyone about the process of its offensive. Until all the preparatory work is completed, decisions on the offensive will not be made. This was stated by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov.

“We will act [в рамках наступления] according to your plan. We do not have such an understanding that we have to report to someone,” said Oleksiy Danilov on the air of the Ukrainian talk show “Great Lviv Speaks”.

According to him, no one will make decisions about the operation until the preparatory work is completed, and the Ukrainian army does not have enough weapons. He also said that it is necessary to conduct exercises and combat coordination.

Earlier, a large-scale offensive was announced in Ukraine. According to former US Army lieutenant colonel Daniel Davis, Kyiv is at risk of failing the offensive due to the lack of experience of soldiers and command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and also because the Ukrainian side receives much less Western military assistance than before. The other day, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that his army should be given more time to advance in order to avoid heavy losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
