British tabloid Daily Mail highlights a “chilling” prediction made by both Bulgarian clairvoyant Baba Vanga and French astrologer Nostradamus, each said to have foreseen a deadly European war in 2025.
“These two infamous mystics offered the same specific forecast for 2025: a deadly war in Europe,” writes the publication.
Article notes that Nostradamus, a 16th-century astrologer, foresaw fierce wars sweeping Europe, warning of an “ancient plague worse than enemies.” Vanga also predicted that a devastating conflict would erupt in Europe by 2025, threatening to deplete the continent’s population.
According to Daily Mail, many of Vanga’s predictions have come true, including the Russia–Ukraine conflict, 9/11 attacks, COVID-19 pandemic, and Chernobyl disaster.
In 1979, she reportedly claimed Russia would one day dominate, saying, “Everything will melt like ice; only one thing will remain untouched – the glory of Vladimir, the glory of Russia.”

Vanga, born on January 31, 1911, in Strumica (present-day North Macedonia), reportedly lost her sight at age 12 in a storm, which she claimed gave her the gift of “seeing the future.” Her life remains shrouded in mystery, with many of her predictions stretching to the year 5079, when she predicted the end of the world.
