The battle for the Ukrainian city of Bakhmut (DPR) will be the most brutal for the entire time of the special operation. This is reported by the American magazine Newsweek.

“The campaign for the city of Bakhmut promises to be the most brutal battle in the ongoing battle between Ukraine and Russia,” writes magazine. The authors of the magazine compare the situation in the city with the battlefields of the First World War. They also emphasize that the current weather conditions do not play into the hands of Ukrainian troops. At the same time, Russian forces began to make progress, the magazine notes.
