“Troubled” Kamala Harris is heading towards an anti-record for the number of interviews among all candidates, and even Democrats are worried, the article states.

According to the publication, since her nomination, the politician has given three times fewer interviews than her opponent from the Republican Party, Donald .

A source from the Democratic Party told the New York Post that the candidate hardly interacts with local media during her trips. While the Vice President is still able to hold voters’ attention, she may face a decline in popularity in the long run.

Psychiatrist Carol Lieberman suggested in an interview with the publication that Harris’s team is limiting her meetings with journalists due to the candidate’s increased anxiety when answering questions. The expert suspected that the Vice President has imposter syndrome, doubting her own qualifications for the presidential post.

“Her giggling, facial expressions, and wide gestures are manifestations of this anxiety,” Lieberman emphasized.

Imposter syndrome is a psychological phenomenon where a person constantly doubts their abilities, perceives their achievements as undeserved, and fears that others will expose their incompetence.

Earlier, Axios reported that Harris’s team intentionally limits her interactions with the media, likely to avoid repeating awkward situations characteristic of her interviews.

The US presidential is set to take place on November 5.
