
Streaming platform Netflix has announced a casting call for a reality show based on the South Korean series The Squid Game. This is told by the publication Deadline.
As with the original project, 456 people will take part in a series of challenges for a prize of over $4.5 million. According to the newspaper, some games will be similar to the competitions from the series, and new competitions are also expected.
On June 12, the streaming platform distributed a teaser for the sequel to the series “The Squid Game”. The exact release date of the second season of the project is currently a secret. Director Hwang Dong-hyuk revealed that the original lead character Song Ki-kun will be returning for the sequel.
