Nebenzya said that Russia considers any documents of the ICC illegal and void

The International Criminal Court (ICC), by its decision to arrest Russian President Vladimir Putin, proved its inferiority and readiness to exercise pseudo-justice on the orders of the West. Vasily Nebenzya, Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, stated this.

“This biased, politicized and incompetent international court has once again proved its inadequacy. The ICC is a puppet in the hands of the collective West, which is always ready to exercise pseudo-justice on order,” – said the diplomat at a meeting of the UN Security Council.

Especially cynical Nebenzya called the fact that “insignificant decisions” were made public on the eve of the 20th anniversary of the US illegal invasion of Iraq. The ICC, the permanent representative pointed out, had jurisdiction, but did nothing to bring the perpetrators to justice. Russia, the diplomat recalled, is not a member of the Rome status, therefore the ICC does not have jurisdiction over the country and its citizens, and the documents issued by this body are illegal and void.
