Nearly 4,000 SARS-CoV-2 carriers detected in Malaysia per day


    In Malaysia, 3927 cases of infection with a new type of coronavirus were detected over the past day. This is evidenced by the data of the Ministry of Health of the kingdom.

    It is noted that 14 infected arrived in Malaysian territory from abroad. Thus, the total number of confirmed cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection in Malaysia reached 4,701,140. Also, six patients with coronavirus infection died in the country over the past day. A total of 36,009 people have died from complications of COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic in the kingdom.

    To date, 4,618,625 people have already recovered and been discharged from medical facilities. There are currently 46,506 active cases of coronavirus infection in Malaysia. At the same time, 52 patients were placed in intensive care units, of which 38 were connected to artificial lung ventilation devices.
