The area of ​​forest fires raging in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Yugra has reached 1,000 hectares. This was announced by the local department of subsoil use and natural resources.

Earlier, the situation in the Urals and in the Tyumen region escalated, where the fire spread to an area of ​​900 hectares. After that, the flame spread to the neighboring region.

As noted in the department, experts have begun to extinguish a forest fire in the Surgut region of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. Its area was 640 hectares.

Five more fires were found in the Kondinsky and Khanty-Mansiysk regions. At the same time, a total of 117 employees of the Avialesookhrana and Yugra forest fire units joined in the elimination of the consequences.

The night before in Krasnoyarsk, a dealer center of the Kirovets brand broke out. The fire covered an area of ​​750 square meters.
