American entrepreneur Elon Musk described as interesting the statement made by Russian President Vladimir Putin about Moscow’s plans to support Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
During his speech at the Eastern Economic Forum, Putin stated that Russia would be backing Harris, as recommended by current President Joe Biden. The Russian leader noted that Harris has an infectious laugh, which suggests that everything is fine with her.
“Interesting,” Musk wrote in a comment on social media platform X, responding to a user’s post about the Russian president’s statement.

Earlier, Kim Schmitz, aka Kim Dotcom, the founder of file-sharing platforms Megaupload and Mega, referred to Putin as a chess grandmaster after the Russian leader announced his support for Harris.
The current US administration has also commented on the Russian leader’s statement. The White House has recommended that Russia “stop talking and interfering in elections” in the US. Moscow categorically denies any accusations of interference.
The US presidential elections will take place on November 5. The Democratic Party will be represented by Vice President Kamala Harris, and the Republican Party by former President Donald Trump.
