According to the Meteorological Department, 18 days in 4 months of rain are dangerous. Of these, 6 days are only in the month of June. During these 18 days, the height of the waves in the sea will be up to 5 meters during high tide. Mumbaikars may face a lot of trouble if it rains during high tide.

Monsoon usually arrives in Mumbai on 10th June. This time the monsoon had knocked a day before. The Meteorological Department has warned Mumbaikars from now on high waves rising in the sea during the monsoon. People from Mumbai, which is slowly opening after the lockdown, go to the seashore to enjoy the rain, so they do not get caught by the waves at high tide.

Whereas, the height of the waves in the sea will be 4.55 meters to 4.77 meters in the other 16 days. BMC closes the flood gates of pumping stations during high tide. During this, if the rains become heavy, then the water accumulating on the roads of Mumbai will not be able to drain, which leads to a flood-like situation in Mumbai.
