Any economic crisis, including a crisis against the backdrop of coronavirus, can turn into a political one, the United States uses this situation to their advantage, trying to warm up these events, RIA Novosti said deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy Alexander Yushchenko, commenting on the US State Department’s grant to expose Russian misinformation health.
Earlier, the US State Department’s Bureau of International Relations decided to grant a grant to “expose the misinformation of Russian health care.” The US State Department published a grant of $ 250,000 on May 21.
Earlier, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg, in an interview with the Italian newspaper la Repubblica, said that Russia and China allegedly spread misinformation to increase influence among the countries of the alliance and the European Union and their destabilization in the context of the coronavirus pandemic. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, in turn, stated that the United States, in the context of the coronavirus pandemic, has made unfounded accusations against China and Russia.
“On the one hand, it is not surprising that they use a general crisis situation and a sanitary-epidemiological one, which has a huge economic impact on countries and leads to a crisis. But we know that any economic crisis can be easily transferred to a political one. Therefore, of course, in their interests, the US, through the Department of State’s foreign affairs department, is heating up these events. And it’s not surprising that they are doing it against us, ”Yushchenko said.
He stressed that the United States often tried to interfere in the interests of sovereign countries, and similar actions against our country could be observed both in the Soviet post-war period and for at least ten years of Russian time.
Yushchenko noted that Russia should try not to give reasons for such accusations.
