The Ukrainian side changed the conditions for the exchange of prisoners, instead of the previously agreed 160 people, Kyiv agreed to give only 90. About this in Telegram channel Russian human rights commissioner Tatiana Moskalkova reported.

The Ombudsman noted that earlier an agreement had been reached with Kiev on the exchange of prisoners in the “160 to 160” format, but in the end, Ukraine agreed to exchange only 90 people.

“Nevertheless, it is very important that the negotiation process continues, we are fighting for each of our guys,” Moskalkova wrote in the messenger.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced the return of 90 Russian prisoners to their homeland. Aircraft of the Military Transport Aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces will deliver the released to Moscow, where they will undergo treatment and rehabilitation in departmental medical institutions.

The Investigative Committee of Russia has launched an investigation into the facts of ill-treatment of Russian military captured by Ukrainians. The Russians were kept in the Ukrainian camp “West-1” in the cold without warm clothes, which led to poor health.
