The list of regions leading by quality of life for 2022 did not change significantly from the previous year. Relevant information provided RIA Novosti experts.
The leaders of the rating, as before, are Moscow and St. Petersburg with 85 points. The rating is continued by the following regions: Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, the Republic of Tatarstan and the Moscow Region. All of them have 75 points.
The top 10 in terms of socio-economic status consistently includes the Sverdlovsk Region, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the Krasnodar Territory, the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Leningrad Region.
The leading subjects provide 53% of the total gross regional product (GRP) of Russia. A third of the state’s population lives in these regions.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian economy in the second quarter of 2023 will grow by 4.2%.
