More than a thousand people left without gas in Makhachkala

MAKHACHKALA, 25 Nov – More than a thousand people were left without gas in Makhachkala due to a leak on the main gas pipeline, the press service of the Ministry of Energy of Dagestan reports.
“In Makhachkala, on Amet-Khan-Sultan Street, a gas leak was found on the main gas pipeline. Because of this, more than a thousand residents in 11 apartment buildings were cut off from the gas supply. Socially important objects do not fall into the cut-off zone,” the message says.
According to the ministry, experts are eliminating the identified violations. The restoration work is scheduled to be completed by December 2.
On Monday, a gas explosion occurred in a private residential building on the same street. One person died, four were injured.
