Over a million fakes about partial mobilization in Russia have been circulated on Russian and Ukrainian social networks in the past two days. This was stated by the chairman of the “Safe Internet League” Ekaterina Mizulina.
“Ukraine has thrown all its efforts into spreading extremist appeals, provocative information and false reports about mining. In addition to fakes about mobilization, false reports about the referendums that began today are very actively spread – we counted about 350 thousand of them, ”Mizulina emphasized.
• Mobilized citizens will be able to keep their jobs • The General Staff named the categories exempted from partial mobilization • The Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the OSCE explained what caused the partial mobilization
She also gave examples of some of these messages. So, according to her, information appeared on social networks that in Zaporozhye people’s passport data is collected in exchange for money and household appliances, and in the LPR thirteen-year-old children will be attracted to vote.
“According to our forecasts, the flow of disinformation will only increase in the near future. We are waiting for a real wave of fakes, not only in social networks, but also in Western media, ”concluded Mizulina.
