Since the beginning of partial mobilization, more than 280 military units and divisions have been formed in Russia, said Yevgeny Burdinsky, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. His article was published in the journal “Military Commissariats of Russia”.

According to Mr. Burdinsky, more than 300,000 citizens were sent to military service during the mobilization. “In total, more than 280 military units and divisions have been formed,” he wrote.

He also highlighted two problems that were noted during the mobilization. According to him, this is “the unpreparedness of a part of society to perform military duties”, as well as “provision of military and military equipment (weapons, military and special equipment – “b”) and deployment of personnel.

In September 2022, President Vladimir Putin announced a partial mobilization. On October 31, he announced its completion. It was reported that 318 thousand people were mobilized. In April, Deputy Prosecutor General Anatoly Razinkin said that the unjustified mobilization of 15,000 Russians had been cancelled.
