Morawiecki: Poland will work on the removal of buildings from the Russian embassy

Warsaw, 15 May 2023, 21:56 — REGNUM Poland “will work” over the removal of the next buildings from the Russian embassy. About it on the air of the TV channel Polsat said the Prime Minister of the Republic Mateusz Morawiecki.

“Recently, as a result of successful actions, one of the buildings on the territory of Warsaw was selected. And we will work on the next ones”the Polish politician announced.

As previously reported IA REGNUM, Poland has previously announced the start of the process of seizure of Russian property in Warsaw. Also, money was withdrawn from the accounts of the Russian embassy. Previously, these funds were frozen under the pretext that they could allegedly be used for money laundering or terrorist financing.

Commenting on the incident, the Russian Ambassador to Warsaw Sergey Andreev called the decision of the Polish authorities a legal arbitrariness and a flagrant violation of the Vienna Convention.
