Missing in the Sverdlovsk region, pensioner GUFSIN Elena Savina was found dead in the Volchikhinsky reservoir. The death of a woman is not of a criminal nature, Valery Gorelykh, head of the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Sverdlovsk Region, told URA.RU.

“Traces of violent death were not found during examination of the body. We found a woman at the Volchikhinsky reservoir near the Flus station, at a decent depth of about 2.5 meters from the shore. Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs had to resort to the help of divers, ”said Gorelykh and expressed his condolences to the relatives of the deceased.

51-year-old pensioner of the GUFSIN Elena Savina disappeared on May 28. In addition to the police forces, volunteers were involved in her search.

“On this fact, a procedural check has been organized. Currently, an investigator of the Investigative Committee of Russia is working at the scene. To determine the exact cause of death of the deceased, a forensic medical examination will be carried out, ”added Maxim Chalkov, assistant to the head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Sverdlovsk Region.
