The Russian government will allocate more than 244 million rubles to the Tyumen region in order to purchase equipment for medical institutions. This order was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on May 28.
“The Tyumen region will receive more than 244 million rubles for the purchase of equipment for regional hospitals. The necessary funds will come from the reserve fund of the Cabinet of Ministers and will help to equip medical institutions in Tobolsk, Ishim, Zavodoukovsk, Yalutorovsk and the village of Golyshmanovo, as well as their divisions and branches, ”the Cabinet website reports.
According to Mikhail Mishustin, thanks to federal funding, new endoscopes and ultrasound machines, including expert-class ones, will be purchased for hospitals. Also, mobile ophthalmological and dental complexes will be purchased to provide on-site assistance. Such complexes will enable doctors to conduct examinations and perform minor operations in remote and hard-to-reach areas of the region.
Earlier, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin flew to Tyumen on a working trip. He visited the Regional Clinical Hospital No. 1, the NOVATEK laboratory and research center, and also met with the Governor of the region Alexander Moor.
