More than 22,000 kilometers of roads have been built and repaired in Russian regions, including new ones. This was stated by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, speaking on March 23 in the State Duma with a report on the work of the government for 2022.

According to Mishustin, 176 million square meters of the roadway were laid, which is 16 million square meters more than in 2021.

“We have improved the record results of last year, and two years earlier than the deadline set by the president, we reached the indicator on the normative state of regional roads. More than 50 percent of them have been brought to the required quality,” the head of government noted.

This means that residents, tourists and carriers will now be able to get and deliver goods to the right points faster. The head of government stressed that the supply of Crimea did not stop, despite the terrorist attack. The automobile part of the Crimean Bridge was restored in an unprecedentedly short time – 4.5 months.
