Russian special operation in Ukraine
Radical statements by Ukrainian politicians towards Russia are aimed at diverting attention from problems within Ukraine. This was stated by the former ambassador of the LPR in Moscow, Rodion Miroshnik.
“I think that exorbitant activity and extremely radical statements are dictated by both quite serious problems in logistics to ensure supplies to the front, and the mass exodus of the population,” Miroshnik said in an interview with TASS. According to him, such statements are needed to mask the failures at the front.
Russia has been conducting a special operation in Ukraine since February 24. Its main goal is to protect the civilian population of Donbass. Earlier, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov said that Ukraine must destroy Russia. According to Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, such statements are not worthy of a response from the Russian Federation.
