Minsk expressed its opinion on the supply of shells with depleted uranium to Ukraine

Deliveries of shells with low-enriched uranium to Kyiv are a trend for the escalation of hostilities in Ukraine. This was announced today, March 22, by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.

According to him, there is no need to support the trend towards the escalation of hostilities in Ukraine. Instead, Lukashenka urged to focus on peace proposals.

Recall, earlier it became known that the UK is ready to transfer to Ukraine along with its Challenger 2 tanks and shells with depleted uranium. In response, the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that such actions undermine strategic stability around the world, and it will “end badly” for London. President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin also noted that Moscow would be forced to respond to the transfer of shells “in an appropriate way.”
