Germany will supply the first howitzers to Ukraine after the training of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is completed, German Defense Minister Christina Lambrecht said.
According to her, the German side, for security reasons, will not provide specific information on the date of delivery of weapons. At the same time, the Ukrainian ambassador to Germany, Andriy Melnyk, said not so long ago that seven howitzers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine should be received at the end of June.
“The first howitzers will be delivered when the training is completed,” Lambrecht said.
Earlier it became known that units of the NM DPR destroyed M777 artillery pieces transferred by the United States to the Ukrainian military near Avdiivka, writesR.T.
