Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev accused NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg of ignorance of history.

The day before, the Secretary General spoke on the situation in Ukraine, calling it the most dangerous moment for Europe since the Second World War. Stoltenberg said that Russia should not be allowed to win. Medvedev reacted to the Secretary General’s statement with a concise post on the Telegram channel.

“He has a bad memory. I forgot who won then, in World War II. History will repeat itself.” wrote Medvedev.

Earlier, the politician noted that the decision of Finland and Sweden to join NATO was taken into account in Moscow and will reconsider relations with them.
