
The Ministry of Education and Science has changed the procedure for admission to universities. According to the new rules, which came into force on March 1, 2023, an applicant can simultaneously submit two applications, including for education at the expense of the federal budget, as well as for places under contracts for the provision of paid educational services. The number of quotas will also be increased. Among them there will be target, special and special. At the same time, a special quota will apply to the children of military personnel participating in the SVO and will amount to 10% of the volume of control figures for each specialty. It is planned that the new procedure for admission to universities will be valid until September 1, 2027.
