Matvienko: Caring for children is one of the most important tasks of Russia’s social policy

The well-being of the younger generation is the highest value of any civilized society, Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko pointed out in her congratulations on International Children’s Day.

According to her, cited by the press service of the Chamber of Regions, caring for children is one of the most important tasks of our country’s social policy.

“We, adults, are obliged to do everything so that our children grow up in an atmosphere of love and understanding, they can realize their talents, be independent and self-confident,” Matvienko emphasized. At the same time, a child receives the brightest and kindest emotions in a strong and friendly family, where they are proud of his successes and take care of traditions and moral values.

The speaker expressed her sincere gratitude to those who dedicated their lives to children, whose professional activities are related to their upbringing and protection. “Let every child have a happy childhood, warm memories of which he will keep for many years,” Matvienko wished.
